PROJECT INFORMATION
Richco has been awarded the Distribution Watermains - Highway 99 Crossing project for the City of Surrey. The project involves installing a new watermain across Highway 99 using trenchless horizontal auger boring, carrying an HDPE main through a steel casing beneath the highway, followed by connection to ductile iron watermain. The work requires close coordination with multiple agencies, including the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and FortisBC.

SCOPE OF WORK
- Horizontal auger boring and installation of approximately 51 metres of 600mm steel casing pipe beneath Highway 99
- Installation of approximately 70 metres of 400mm HDPE carrier pipe through the casing
- Installation of approximately 49 metres of 300mm ductile iron watermain
- Multi-agency coordination, including the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) and FortisBC
